The Mikolo Fitness Anubis 2.0 Elite is one of the most surprising pieces of equipment I’ve tested this year! It’s compact, extremely stable for a half rack, and features one of the smoothest pulley systems I have come across in the home gym space. When paired with the Bastet 2.0 Adjustable FID Bench, the setup becomes a highly functional and space-efficient training station capable of covering a wide range of strength and accessory movements.

ENKIRI ELITE RATING SYSTEM
The Enkiri Elite Fitness Equipment Rating System uses a 10 point scale rating system. The system is based on 5 separate categories with each category being worth a maximum of 2 points.
If the piece of equipment is perfect in a particular category then 2 points are awarded for that category. For each moderate to severe flaw half a point is docked from that category, for a range of anywhere from 0, to 0.5, to 1.0, to 1.5 points.
The total rating is based on the scores of all 5 categories added together. The 5 categories that are analyzed are:
Assembly Process
How easy or difficult is the assembly of the piece of equipment relative to other similar pieces? This category is graded based on difficulty as well as total time taken to achieve completion.
Build Quality
How heavy duty is the piece of equipment? Is it solid and sturdy or rickety and wobbly? Do I feel safe and confident while using it? Am I unable to push myself hard due to a subpar build or out of fear of potential equipment failure?
Features
What add-ons and features does the piece of equipment come with? Is there anything cool or unique? Is it missing something that should be standard?
Usage
How do the exercises feel? Are they smooth or cumbersome? Can the machine be adjusted to make things work well for different body types and sizes? What kind of movement variety is available?
Value
What overall value does the unit bring to the table for home gym owners? Is it multi-functional? Is it cost effective? Does it take up too much space for a home gym?
1. ASSEMBLY PROCESS
Assembly for the Anubis 2.0 Elite was straightforward. I completed the entire build solo without any issues. The hardware was packaged securely, the bolts were massive (in a good way), the individual components were wrapped well, and the instructions were intuitive and clear.
For a rack that includes built-in weight stacks, multiple pulleys, various accessories, and 4 full 3x3 uprights, the process was impressively smooth. The time investment is reasonable and the experience is far easier than many comparable multi-function units on the market.
Assembly Score: 2.0 / 2.0
Hardware and bolts were well-packaged and organized.
Parts were individually wrapped and protected.
Instructions were clear and intuitive.
The process was smooth despite the complexity of built-in stacks/pulleys.
2. BUILD QUALITY
The Anubis is constructed from 3x3, 12-gauge steel, giving it a legitimately heavy-duty feel despite its compact footprint. Even without bolting it down, the rack remains planted and stable, assisted in part by the dual 175lbs weight stacks keeping everything secure.
The J-hooks are rated for 1,200lbs, the safety arms are rated for 2,000lbs (a literal ton!), and they have been drop tested up to 1,000lbs — which is quite impressive! The spotter arms are 24 inches long and feature adjustable floor-bracing feet, which significantly increase stability during heavy barbell work. This is one of the better half rack safety systems I’ve tested.
The Bastet 2.0 Bench is built from 3x3, 14-gauge steel and supports up to 1,500lbs. Despite its strength, it’s lightweight, easy to maneuver, and rolls smoothly. The knurled handle is a nice detail that improves grip when repositioning the bench during training.
The only limitation worth noting is the bench’s pad geometry. When the back pad is set to a high angle and the seat pad is also raised to its uppermost setting, the two pads run into each other, and so they can't both get locked in place at their highest settings at the same time. It’s minor, but it does reduce the flexibility of certain incline setups.
Still very solid overall in this category! Just that small mechanical limitation with the bench.
Build Quality Score: 1.75 / 2.0
Rack is made with 3x3, 12-gauge steel for excellent durability
J-hooks rated to 1,200lbs and safety arms rated to 2,000lbs (drop tested to 1,000lbs!)
Safety arms have adjustable floor braces for added stability
Bastet bench uses 3x3, 14-gauge steel and supports 1,500lbs
Bench is sturdy yet lightweight and easy to maneuver.
Drawbacks
Back pad and seat pad on the bench collide at their highest angles, limiting incline configurations slightly.
3. FEATURES
The Anubis is highly feature dense for its size and price point.
The dual 175lbs weight stacks operate on a 2:1 ratio, providing smooth resistance suitable for most accessory work. The height adjustable pulley swivels range from 16 inches off the floor up to 79 inches, allowing a wide variety of movements.
Notably, the pulley system is exceptionally smooth — arguably the smoothest I’ve used on any half rack to date, especially when sliding the swivels up and down the uprights.
The pull-up bar provides three neutral grip options: wide, medium, and narrow. All three feel natural and comfortable, making this one of the standout features of the entire rack. A minor drawback is the lack of tapered ends, which would improve pronated wide grip pull-ups.
Mikolo includes a solid accessory package with the Anubis:
Landmine attachment
Dual-hook straight bar
Lat pulldown bar
T-bar attachment
Triceps rope
Ankle strap
Cable bar
Two D-handles
For an all-in-one unit at this price, the standard kit is impressive. It’s a solid mix of everything you need to get started and really hit the ground running.
The 3-in-1 pad is a simple attachment that ends up being far more useful than it looks at first glance. It functions as a foot plate for cable rowing movements, giving you a stable surface to brace against during horizontal pulls.
It also works as a leg holder for lat pulldowns, allowing you to anchor yourself solidly so you can drive maximal force into your vertical pulls without getting yanked off the floor.
Finally, it can be used as a small stool or step for various movements. For example, I used it as an elevated leg platform to perform Copenhagen planks. Altogether, the 3-in-1 pad adds meaningful versatility to the unit overall, and is a necessary component of maximizing productivity during cable rowing and pulldown movements.
The Bastet 2.0 Adjustable FID Bench (FID = flat, incline, decline) contributes even more versatility to the setup. It offers 11 different back pad angles, paired with 3 seat pad positions, allowing you to dial in incline, flat, and decline variations with precision.
The adjustable headrest has 5 settings, including the ability to fold completely out of the way — this is especially useful for high incline and seated overhead pressing movements, where getting the head/chin out of the way of the bar makes a huge difference in terms of mechanical efficiency.
One of the bench’s most unique capabilities is that it can be flipped around and used as a chest-supported station, turning it into a platform for rows, rear delt movements, and other shoulder/back work. The combination of adjustability and functionality makes the Bastet 2.0 bench a strong complement to the Anubis rack and greatly expands the exercise variety the overall system offers.
The pull-up bar would benefit from tapered ends.
The 3-in-1 pad could use additional angle options for various rowing setups.
The Anubis includes no plate storage posts, which would greatly reduce gym clutter.
So overall, really solid stuff here, but with just a few small but legitimate misses I'm giving it a features score of 1.75 out of 2.0.
Features Score: 1.75 / 2.0
Dual 175lbs weight stacks with a smooth 2:1 pulley ratio.
Pulley adjustment system is one of the smoothest tested on any half rack.
Neutral grip pull-up bar offers three widths (wide, medium, narrow).
Versatile attachment kit included
Bastet bench offers 3 adjustable sections, 11 back-pad angles, 3 seat angles, 5 headrest positions.
Bench can be flipped to serve as a chest supported platform.
4. USAGE & FEEL
Training on the Anubis is genuinely a pleasure! The rack feels secure under heavy barbell lifts thanks to the reinforced safety arms, and the pulleys operate with a smoothness more commonly found in commercial environments.
The neutral grip pull-up bar quickly became one of my favorite aspects of the unit, and the Bastet bench’s headrest design allows for a more natural pressing path during high incline and overhead pressing movements. Flipping the bench around to use it as a chest supported platform also opens up additional back and shoulder options that most benches don’t provide.
The only drawback here usage is that the built-in weight stacks only go to 175lbs per side (at that 2:1 ratio. This is the same limitation almost every built-in weight stack has on these new style all-in-one home gym racks. The resistance feels buttery smooth and awesome, but it’s just not quite heavy enough to go all out on heavy pulldowns and cable rows — without having some way of adding extra plates onto the stack or connecting the two stacks together.
The problem is if you connect the two stacks together there's no way to use the footplate or leg holder when working in the center of the rack — and Mikolo doesn’t offer an attachment solution for that as of yet.
But because of that moderate loading limitation I have to give it a Usage Score of 1.5 out of 2.0. Functionally this piece is absolutely excellent, it's just capped by that weight stack limitation right now.
Usage Score: 1.5 / 2.0
Rack feels extremely stable and secure under heavy loads.
Pulleys are smooth and fluid, providing a high quality training feel.
Neutral grip pull-up bar is intuitive and comfortable.
Bastet bench headrest improves overhead and incline press paths.
Bench’s chest supported mode adds valuable movement variety.
Drawbacks
Weight stacks cap at 175lbs per side at 2:1, limiting max effort rows/pulldowns.
No way to link both stacks while still using the foot plate/leg holder.
No Mikolo built solution (yet) for increasing stack loading.
5. VALUE
The Anubis usually sells for around $2,700, and for that price you’re getting:
solid 3x3 12 gauge steel with a setup that allows you to use 3x3 attachments from any brand
built-in, dual 175lbs weight stacks on an extremely smooth pulley system
an awesome pull-up bar
a solid landmine attachment + full accessory kit that come standard with the rack
safety arms that have been drop tested up to 1000lbs
a compact footprint
and a rack that legitimately bridges the gap between home gym and commercial gym.
A couple of minor attachment tweaks — especially linking the weight stacks or maybe adding their dip horn attachment as a standard inclusion — would make this piece an absolute monster. But as is, the Anubis is one of the strongest home gym rack offerings in this price range. It's a fantastic value for anyone wanting a multi-functional, compact home gym setup.
Value Score: 1.75 / 2.0
Strong value at a typical $2,700 price point.
Construction and pulley feel approach commercial-grade levels
Comes with a fuller accessory kit than many competitors
Compact footprint while maintaining heavy duty performance
Strong base ecosystem with potential for future attachments
FINAL THOUGHTS & RATING
Based on the Enkiri Elite Fitness Equipment Rating System, the Mikolo Fitness Anubis 2.0 Elite + Bastet 2.0 Adjustable FID Bench combo scores as follows:
Assembly Process: 2.0/2.0
Build Quality: 1.75/2.0
Features: 1.75/2.0
Usage: 1.5/2.0
Value: 1.75/2.0
FINAL SCORE: 8.75/10
Overall, the Anubis 2.0 Elite All-in-One Trainer — paired with the Bastet Adjustable FID Bench — is genuinely one of my favorite racks I’ve tested. It’s simple, durable, extremely aesthetic, the pulleys are insanely smooth, the neutral-grip pull-up bar is awesome, the safety arms are really secure, and the whole setup punches way above its footprint.
It’s compact, it’s well built, and it feels commercial-grade where it matters. If Mikolo expands the attachment ecosystem slightly, this setup could inch close to perfection. But even now, it stands out as one of the best values in the functional trainer + half rack category.
